The Artistic Intervention
This is a New Era of Imagination. A deliberate move to take heritage pieces from the field and place them in the gallery. As an independent artistic intervention, this project utilizes iconic heritage as a canvas for the UPTOWN: The Arts + Music & Fashion reimagination. This is a private expression of creativity, brought from my imagination to the public.
The Spontaneous Manifestation
The vision for this collection was nurtured in my subconscious for years. It spontaneously manifested in May 2023, while watching the Met Gala honoring Karl Lagerfeld. In that sudden spark, years of thought were channeled directly from my mind to the screen—a moment of inspiration captured in time.
The Digital Hand
My process is strictly hand-drawn digitally—flowing directly from my eyes, mind, heart, and fingers. No pens, no automated tools—just my fingers moving across the digital screen to bring these characters to life. This raw, tactile connection gives the work its textured look and original soul.
The Physical Legacy
Once the digital soul is captured, the work is translated onto premium canvas, paper, or heritage apparel. Certain pieces are elevated to Mixed Media, hand-embellished with paint to create a textured look that invites you to feel.
